07 DAYS NEPAL - KATHMANDU- POKHARA

Arrive Kathmandu. Meet and assist by our representative. Transfer to hotel.
In the evening, Cultural Program with folk and traditional dances of Nepal. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, we begin our half day sight seeing tour of Kathmandu valley by visiting two very important religious centers: Pashupatinath temple for the Hindus, nearby along the banks of the river Bagmati is the cremation area for the dead. Boudhanath is possibly the largest stupa in the world and the center for Tibetan school of Buddhism. We then drive on to Bhaktapur the medical cities of devotees and the best preserved of all the old cities of Kathmandu Valley. In the evening we go by Rickshaw to have a Typical Nepalese Dinner in Lus Kus Restaurant, Thamel. We come back by Rickshaw.

After breakfast, Drive to Pokhara through scenic mountain terrain and upon reaching Pokhara relax in the hotel. The evening can be spend most enjoyably on the bank of the Phewa Lake which reflects the towering Fishtail Peak in its water.

This picturesque town set on the laps of Annapurna mountains is the staging area of all treks in this region. Today we visit the important sight seeing areas like Bindebasini temple, Devins Gorge, Seti Gorge and the market place. We have rest of the afternoon at leisure. Boating on Fewa Lake is an optional you can enjoy. Overnight stay at Hotel.

After breakfast, Drive back to Kathmandu and check-in hotel. Rest of the day we are totally free.

Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kasthamandap, Kumari Temple, abode of the virgin goddess. Visit Swoyambhunath stupa, on top of the hill overlooking Kathmandu valley, Patan famous for its arts and crafts. Tour highlights are the Shikara-style Krishna temple, Patan Durbar with the royal baths, Hiranaya Varna Mahavihar, a Buddhist monastery, Tibetan cultural center first founded by the Tibetan refugees of the late fifties and now an exhibition - cum - shopping complex of carpets, jewelry and many interesting souvenirs.

After breakfast day free and departure transfer to the airport.
